Out of the 3 planer boards Yellow Bird,Church TX-12 and Big Jon BG side Liner, I have tried out. The TX-12 by Church Tackle Company comes out on top. They are the easiest for a novist or pro to use. You can start these boards from a dead stop or at trolling speed.
They are light weight propylene, with adjustable clip tension. These boards can handle any line from Braid, Leadcore or monofilment.
The rear pin design is excellent for a quick and easy removal. This design allows your line, to slide through with ease to the desired line length behind your boards.
The design of these boards airflow lets them lift over waves with ease.Which allows for les strain on your rods.Than the much heavier and bigger boards. But with the same action you want to make your bait work well.
These boards come in a bright red, which allows them to be seen against any back ground with no eye strain.
I recommend these boards for any class fisherman's arsenol. I know I will never leave home without them.
