Put A Sock On It Product Review

By Christine

I've been using the Put A Sock On It rod socks and lure keepers for a couple of weeks now and these products have proved to be great protection for both rods and lures. Wheather you are a fresh water or salt water fisherman, Put A Sock On It rod socks come in sizes that can accommodate ultra light trout rods (4'11"-5') to heavier saltwater gear (7'). I have been using the 7' rod sock to cover a 7' kokanee rod with a dodger/lure set up.

Put A Sock On It products can be purchased in our online catalog.

The rod sock is made of 600 denier nylon and easily slips over your rod and lures without getting snagged on any hooks. Its elastic band slips over your reel to keep the rod sock snug in its place. The rod sock provides rod protection while transporting and keeps dodgers/lures tangle free while being stored in a rod locker.

How many times has this happened to you?

Put A Sock On It also has several lure keepers to fit many types of lures. The lure keepers keep those nasty hooks out of harms way and keep your lures protected. They come in several sizes to accommodate a variety of lures. Sizes range from a small 5"X7" to a large 5 1/2"X15". I found that the 22mm clear plastic lure keepers worked great for my small trout gear such as, Rapala's and grubs.

Not only can lure keepers be used for protecting your lures from damage, but for you bass fishermen, the lure keepers come in a variety of colors (other than clear) so you can keep your lures hidden from spying eyes during bass tournaments. The lure keepers allow you to have all your poles set up with whatever lures and no one will be able to see what lure you got tied to your line.

All rod socks and lure keepers are made of 600-denier nylon and are triple stitched for maximum durabilty. They come in a variety of colors and sizes to accommodate any fishing gear and they also make reel socks and custom fly rod socks. The Put A Sock On It products are great rod, reel and lure protectors. They keep your rods protected from the tangled mess we have all experienced while transporting multiple rods. Wheather you are purchasing it for yourself or as a gift, the Put A Sock On It products would be a great addition to any fishermen's gear. All of us have probably spent WAY to much money on fishing gear. So, why not protect your investment and PUT A SOCK ON IT!
