Beauty Lake is located in Eldorado County, in the small town of Kyburz. It is located at over 7,000 ft. elevation. This area gets lots of snow in the winter, so be sure to check the local weather and road conditions before your trip. To get to Beauty Lake you will drive up highway 50 towards Lake Tahoe, and you will take Wrights Lake Road. You will have to hike in to see this lake, which makes the days experience even more enjoyable. There are many different small hidden lakes in this area.
